#237 - "Can't Keep Any of Us Down" - September 12, 2016

This week on the Crossrip, the boys catch up on news including Ghostbusters Answer the Call's return to theaters over Labor Day Weekend and beyond. Hot Wheels announces eight cars while Cryptozoic cancels some of their wares. The biggest names in voice acting did a live read of Ghostbusters in Toronto - and at the same time, hundreds of Ghostheads gathered in Atlanta for DragonCon and its sister gathering the PKE Surge. Oh, and Troy won a PKE Surge award! All that plus a tribute to a fallen Boy in Grey from the Louisville Ghostbusters, Todd Harrison.

#230 - "Ghostbusters: Answer the Call" - First Review and Analysis - July 25, 2016

Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is out in theaters and we're back with our regular format after the couple week hiatus! You've been asking for it, so after we catch up with the news and hear Troy and Chris' thoughts on the new film. After the latest news on box office, next steps, multiple interviews, Ghostheads' release, an onslaught of new merchandise, and more - the boys chat about their favorite easter eggs, callbacks, and the pluses and minuses after multiple viewings of the film. This week on the Crossrip, we're joined by the minds behind BBQ Films' experience in Brooklyn, New York: Lenny Platt, Gabriel Rhoads, and Lauren Lickus! Plus a contest sponsored by Loot Crate! Then we pay tribute to the recently passed Stephen Dane, hardware consultant on Ghostbusters who is responsible for so many of the iconic images you know and love to this day. News on the Fathom Events and BBQ Films screenings. Real Ghostbusters DVD re-release news. The latest Ghostbusters (2016) news: Chris Hemsworth talks the original film and Kevin, the four new leads talk the Google Science Fair and Paul Feig talks (a whole lot). Lots and lots of merchandise news from Mattel, Activision, Cryptozoic, LEGO Dimensions, talking about that possible Kevin Ecto-Mini spoiler, and more. Then, in our second hour of the show, Troy and Chris discuss the heated topic at hand: negativity, positivity, trolls, bullies, and a whole lot more. As the noise among the social networks grows louder and louder, it's time that the guys talked out a few of their thoughts on the current "State of the Ghostbusters Nation."

Chris discusses the results of his very scientific social media experiment. Nas is releasing a Ghostbusters clothing line. #214 - "Ghostbusters on the March!" - March 28, 2016

So much news. So, so much news everywhere. Join Troy and Chris as they try to run it all through the spaghetti strainer to make sure you only get the al dente goodness. Kevin Smith talked international Ghostbusters (2016) trailer and brings up a couple more good points worth discussion, the Boston Herald ran an article on the theoretical science advisor to the new film (SEND US YOUR THESIS, DR. MAXWELL - did it work?), the Russo's version of Ghostbusters is dead, wait what wasn't it only in pre-lim development? How about some details on Cryptozoic's Ghostbusters II themed board game. All that and news on Dubai's Motiongate park and the new Activision mobile game.

#208 - Craig Goldberg and Abigail Gardner - February 22, 2016

Catch up on all this week's news and listen to an interview with the newly engaged couple: Craig Goldberg and Abigail Gardner, who spent February 14th watching the trailer announcement - and having Ivan Reitman help them start the journey of marriage! But before we get into their story, let's catch up a little with the response to the 3/3/16 trailer announcement including a news item featured in the Wall Street Journal. There's still plenty of Toy Fair information that Troy and Chris haven't explored including Mr. Potato Heads, Trading Cards, Retro Fast Food Glasses, Proton Packs, and oh yeah - and the reveal of two potential villains. #207 - "The End of the World Super Spectacular Special Show!" - February 14, 2016

We have a trailer! Well, a trailer FOR the trailer! We've got a special show planned for you to celebrate the Trailer Announcement that also just so happens to be on the date aliens in Paramus, NJ predicted would be the end of the world! Join Troy and Chris for a breakdown of the trailer announcement and perhaps some clues within for the future of what's to come. Then the boys will talk all the merchandise news that's fit to print because this week also is the New York International Toy Fair - Legos, fan clubs, Funko Pop Vinyls, there's a whole slew of good stuff coming that we finally got to see. Then, Cleanin' Up the Town's Kickstarter campaign happened in between recording sessions, and with it came a new trailer that the boys'll chat about. Also, great news out of Chicago as Second City has announced the Harold Ramis Film School opening in September, and there's a familiar name in charge of it. Finally, we'll get to everyone's fantastic (and fun) feedback to the Death and Taxes article discussed last week, including a guest appearance from the guys at Ghostbusters Resurrection.
