First up in the news, a merch round-up of biblical proportions: Hasbro Plasma Series Wave 2 figures are hitting shelves, as are family sized boxes of Ghostbusters cereal, tons of halloween costume offerings, and a whole lot more. No, we won’t talk about those images that circulated around the internet last week and we’ll tell you why. Then in the second half of the show, we’re diving into the first listen to Rob Simonsen’s score to Ghostbusters Afterlife as heard in a promotional piece on the official Ghostbusters social platforms and using that as a way into talking about Sony Masterworks’ outstanding release of the Ghostbusters II score. After 32 years of waiting, we have a clean and official listen to the score which answers some questions, opens up a few new puzzles and more.
