This week on the show, talking about a few Aykroyd Adjacent films, the recently hired Ghostbusters (2020) film crew, and more! First up, Troy just saw a movie that had somehow slipped past his radar in the 80’s and stars one of our favorite Ghostbusters actors. Next up, the latest rumor round-up on Ghostbusters (2020) including on-going casting chat. Then, an in-depth discussion on the film crew we do know has boarded the project including the new Director of Photography, Art Director, and Visual Effects Supervisor. Finally, some merch news including Funko cereal pre-orders - wait… pre-ordering cereal? We really are in the future.

#408 - "New York Toy Fair 2018/Remembering Harold Ramis Four Years Later" - Feburary 26, 2018

GBSeries10a.jpg

It's a double (possibly triple)-episode this week as we explore all of the news fit to print from New York Toy Fair, unbox Playmobil's new Ghostbusters II Playmogram 3D figures and remember Harold Ramis on the fourth anniversary of his passing. First up, Playmobil was kind enough to send the boys each a surprise package and they do a live unboxing on the air, discussing the new Ghostbusters II line from the international company. Next up, a discussion on Toy Fair 2018 announcements including Real Ghostbusters action figures, Stranger Things tie-ins, and a whole lot more. Thanks to Ghostbusters.net, our mics were in New York for audio with McFarlane Toys, Funko, Round Two, and Diamond Select, so tune in for their thoughts. Finally, Mix Master Chris has put together some rarities in remembrance of Harold Ramis to mark the fourth year since his passing.

#318 - "Zuul: Destroyer of Shins" - May 15, 2017

This week on the show, we're breaking down the announcement that Zuul is real - and it's a fossilized dinosaur! But before the boys dive into that, first some discussion about the 35th Anniversary (don't worry, you still have time to make your party plans), Extreme Ghostbusters and a VICE article chatting about how it got diversity right, and a little bit about those custom NES New Ghostbusters II cartridges that have been making the rounds on the internet. All that plus a great listener letter and voicemail on this week's Crossrip!

#207 - "The End of the World Super Spectacular Special Show!" - February 14, 2016

We have a trailer! Well, a trailer FOR the trailer! We've got a special show planned for you to celebrate the Trailer Announcement that also just so happens to be on the date aliens in Paramus, NJ predicted would be the end of the world! Join Troy and Chris for a breakdown of the trailer announcement and perhaps some clues within for the future of what's to come. Then the boys will talk all the merchandise news that's fit to print because this week also is the New York International Toy Fair - Legos, fan clubs, Funko Pop Vinyls, there's a whole slew of good stuff coming that we finally got to see. Then, Cleanin' Up the Town's Kickstarter campaign happened in between recording sessions, and with it came a new trailer that the boys'll chat about. Also, great news out of Chicago as Second City has announced the Harold Ramis Film School opening in September, and there's a familiar name in charge of it. Finally, we'll get to everyone's fantastic (and fun) feedback to the Death and Taxes article discussed last week, including a guest appearance from the guys at Ghostbusters Resurrection. This is a CAN'T MISS episode of the Crossrip, especially considering the world might be coming to an end, join us for the last moments won't you?
