This week on the show, the latest news on Ghostbusters 2020, a new game from IDW, and just why does Ghostbusters seem to cause so much anxiety? First up, a quick correction on last week’s Tobin’s Audio Guide. Then, a release date, production designer, and some early audition reels have all surfaced for Jason Reitman’s upcoming Ghostbusters sequel. Playmobil has revealed details of their next wave of toys including a superb-looking Ecto-1A. And Funko information for the future has also leaked. IDW Games has announced a new co-op game coming in June called “Ghostbusters Blackout.” And finally in the last segment of the show, some discussion about a recent AV Club article asking the question why does Ghostbusters cause so much anxiety? Is it just Ghostbusters, or is the issue something larger? The boys will give it their best.

It's a double (possibly triple)-episode this week as we explore all of the news fit to print from New York Toy Fair, unbox Playmobil's new Ghostbusters II Playmogram 3D figures and remember Harold Ramis on the fourth anniversary of his passing. First up, Playmobil was kind enough to send the boys each a surprise package and they do a live unboxing on the air, discussing the new Ghostbusters II line from the international company. Next up, a discussion on Toy Fair 2018 announcements including Real Ghostbusters action figures, Stranger Things tie-ins, and a whole lot more. Finally, Mix Master Chris has put together some rarities in remembrance of Harold Ramis to mark the fourth year since his passing.

Playmobil announced their next series of figures, including Ghostbusters II and Real Ghostbusters figures, Lootcrate has a slew of exclusives that were sold both at NYCC (and might be in this month's crate?), IDW is gearing up for both the TMNT crossover as well as the Answer the Call miniseries, Insight Editions handed out limited edition posters to those who pre-ordered the Ectomobile Owner's Workshop Manual, Hot Topic merch, Spirit and Spencer's... buckle up, it's going to be a long one.

#245 - Murray's Greatest October - November 7, 2016

Bill Murray is having one helluva October. Not only have his beloved Cubs won the World Series, but he himself won the highest comedy honor granted by the Kennedy Center on behalf of the Mark Twain Prize. This week we celebrate a little bit of both in Murray's honor.
