This week on the show, we're incredibly honored to be joined by video game designer, programmer, David Crane. Crane, one of the co-creators of Activision and the man behind Pitfall, A Boy and His Blob, among countless other games was also responsible for designing Ghostbusters for the Commodore 64, Atari 2600 and multiple other ports. Over the course of the hour, we talk Atari's early days, designing games for the 2600, and in-depth on the Ghostbusters title. Join us, won't you?

#222 - "Answering the Call" - May 23, 2016

Can Troy and Chris keep up with everything this week? We'll find out. This week talking about those two trailers, their exclusivity, and that new (kinda) subtitle "Answer the Call" plus some clarification as to why this might have been called Trailer 6. A little discussion about the six-minute review that's supposedly not going to lead to a review (but already was a review so, there's that). Matt Walsh talks very briefly about his role in the new Ghostbusters film. Soundtrack Talk - - News on Theodore Shapiro's Ghostbusters score coming in July as well as the RCA Soundtrack album closely following it - and will Ray Parker Jr. reprise his song? Will someone else? Activision video game details (including some discussion about it not being an online multiplayer). Ghostbusters Twitter emojis are live! Troy does a quick recap of the Nas Hstry event in West Hollywood - and the accompanying livestream that he jumped into. Hold on for a special two-hour episode this week as Troy and Chris bring you the latest news, then have a bit of a point/counterpoint on the State of the Ghostbusters Nation. Up first, the big news about the new Times Square experience brought to you by The Void and Madame Tussauds. Then we pay tribute to the recently passed Stephen Dane, hardware consultant on Ghostbusters who is responsible for so many of the iconic images you know and love to this day. News on the Fathom Events and BBQ Films screenings. Real Ghostbusters DVD re-release news. The latest Ghostbusters (2016) news: Chris Hemsworth talks the original film and Kevin, the four new leads talk the Google Science Fair and Paul Feig talks (a whole lot). Lots and lots of merchandise news from Mattel, Activision, Cryptozoic, LEGO Dimensions, talking about that possible Kevin Ecto-Mini spoiler, and more. Then, in our second hour of the show, Troy and Chris discuss the heated topic at hand: negativity, positivity, trolls, bullies, and a whole lot more. As the noise among the social networks grows louder and louder, it's time that the guys talked out a few of their thoughts on the current "State of the Ghostbusters Nation."
